I broke my wrist in two places while on a trip to NC. The doctor there was able to take care of one break but not the other. Upon returning to Tampa, I had just a few days to find a hand orthopedic doctor – not easy if you do not have one on speed dial. I finally went to the Florida Orthopaedic Institute on South Dale Mabry. Dr. Garcia was the doctor there that day. He evaluated my situation, and scheduled surgery for that same week. Dr. Garcia is a kind, caring and thorough surgeon. He listens to patients concerns, answers all questions, and sincerely wants to see the patient fully functional again. I consider myself very fortunate to have found such an excellent surgeon and would recommend him to anyone.
