The physicians at Florida Orthopaedic Institute, in conjunction with Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE), are involved in numerous clinical studies to test the effectiveness and safety of new therapies, medical devices and procedures.

Orthopedic clinical trials are conducted in such sub-specialties as hand, foot, ankle, knee, hip, spine, elbow, shoulder and sports medicine.

Founded in 1999 by the surgeons at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education (FORE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established as a way to improve the care of patients with musculoskeletal disorders through research and education. While FORE operates independently from Florida Orthopaedic Institute, there is constant collaboration with the surgeons on numerous research and education endeavors.

FORE is improving orthopaedic medicine through investigation, innovation and education.
