About Katherine Hicks

Katherine completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, where she studied Biomedical Sciences as well as Emergency and Disaster Management. Before becoming a physician assistant, she worked as a first responder and volunteered on numerous global mission trips. She then completed the Physician Assistant program at AdventHealth University in Orlando, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society.

Katherine specializes in upper extremity and hand surgery, managing a wide range of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Her approach to patient care is rooted in treating every patient as she would a member of her own family, combining a warm, empathetic demeanor with evidence-based medicine. She believes that while many conditions are common, each patient and their goals are unique and deserve an individualized approach to care.

Outside of work, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and son, as well as their two dachshunds. She loves traveling and is a passionate sports fan, especially of football (Go Chiefs!), hockey, and Formula 1. One of her bucket list goals is to attend a Formula 1 race at every circuit around the world, combining her love of the sport with her passion for travel.
