About Madeline Deneen
Maddie earned a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Pre-PA Studies, from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She then completed the Physician Assistant program at the University of South Florida, where she completed orthopedic rotations at Florida Orthopaedic Institute, USF Morsani, and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
Alongside Dr. Nydick, Maddie specializes in upper extremity care, including conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. She assists with surgical procedures and postoperative patient care while providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Maddie works with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan based on their symptoms and goals. She provides injections, recommends advanced imaging and therapy, applies casts when appropriate, and helps patients understand the reasoning behind their treatment options, including surgery when needed.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and goldendoodle, Birdie. She also loves exploring Tampa, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
