About Katie Albright
Katie began her healthcare career as a radiologic technologist, spending five years working in the operating room and developing a strong foundation in musculoskeletal imaging and surgical care. That experience sparked her passion for orthopedics and inspired her to pursue a career as a physician assistant. She completed the Barry University Physician Assistant master’s program before dedicating her career to orthopedic surgery. Katie has since specialized in orthopedic trauma and joint replacement at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
Katie is passionate about helping patients regain their mobility, independence, and quality of life through compassionate care. Her experience in orthopedic trauma and joint replacement has reinforced the importance of treating each patient as an individual, taking the time to understand their goals, and developing a personalized treatment plan to help them return to the activities they enjoy. Whether caring for patients recovering from complex fractures or guiding them through the journey of joint replacement, Katie focuses on restoring function, reducing pain, and empowering patients to walk confidently and resume their everyday lives.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle through yoga and long walks along Bayshore Boulevard with her Goldendoodle. She has a passion for travel and enjoys exploring new cultures and destinations around the world while working toward visiting every U.S. national park. She values experiences that inspire a deeper appreciation for the world around her.
