About Elio Hernandez
Elio has been with Florida Orthopaedic Institute since 2013. He received his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida that same year and is credentialed as an advanced practice nurse through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
Elio works alongside Dr. Gasser, providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. His approach to patient care is centered on listening to each patient, understanding their individual goals and lifestyle, and developing a personalized treatment plan that balances effective symptom relief with long-term function and recovery. He believes in educating and partnering with patients so they can make informed decisions about their care and remain active participants in their recovery.
In his spare time, Elio loves spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys boating, fishing, and outdoor activities.
