About Dr. Schwab

Dr. Thomas O. Schwab is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in General Orthopaedics, as well as conservative treatment of osteoarthritis of the joints and osteoporosis. He is a graduate of the Ohio State Medical School. He completed two residencies; one in Orthopaedics at Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. A second residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Schwab completed his internship at Highland General Hospital in Oakland, CA.

Dr. Schwab explains in detail so patients can make informed decisions about their care options. His attention to details assures patients of the correct individualized treatment plan. He can be found serving patients in both our Clearwater and Countryside offices.

Dr. Schwab belongs to many organizations, such as the American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Eastern Orthopaedic Association; Florida Medical Association; Florida Orthopaedic Society; National Board of Medical Examiners; and American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
