About Zakir Choudhury

Zakir is a board-certified physician assistant who completed the Physician Assistant program at St. John’s University. He has dedicated his career to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and has developed a strong commitment to building trusting relationships, listening carefully to his patients, and staying current with advances in medicine to provide the best possible care.

Zakir specializes in interventional pain management, evaluating and treating a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal and spine conditions. He has extensive experience diagnosing cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions and developing individualized treatment plans to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and improve their quality of life. He believes in combining a thorough clinical evaluation with evidence-based, minimally invasive treatment options to address each patient’s unique needs.

In addition to comprehensive pain management, Zakir performs a variety of in-office procedures, including trigger point injections, occipital nerve blocks, corticosteroid knee injections, viscosupplementation injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, and Botox® injections for the treatment of chronic migraines. His goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while utilizing the most appropriate interventional therapies to help patients return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside of work, Zakir enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He values quality time with family and friends, enjoys traveling and exploring new places, and believes in lifelong learning by continuously expanding his medical knowledge and skills.
