About Elizabeth Zucker

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida. During her graduate training at the University of South Florida, she completed a preceptorship with Florida orthopedic Institute, where she trained under the mentorship of renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Weinstein and Nurse Practitioner Caitlin Weigard. This experience provided extensive exposure to a wide range of spinal and orthopedic conditions and helped shape her patient-centered approach to care. Today, Elizabeth works alongside Dr. Mierke, a highly respected spine surgeon, delivering comprehensive, patient-focused orthopedic care. Together, they are committed to helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most.

Elizabeth treats a broad spectrum of spinal conditions involving the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she assists Dr. Mierke in the operating room, providing perioperative support and contributing to the surgical management of complex spine cases. Her patient philosophy is rooted in treating every patient with the same compassion, respect, and dedication she would show her own family and friends. Through comprehensive and individualized care, Elizabeth strives to improve each patient’s overall health and well-being.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the beach, exploring local bookstores, and discovering new places around the Tampa Bay and Lakeland areas.
