For some patients, relief from back pain doesn’t have to mean surgery. See the nonsurgical technique used by Dr. Howard Jackson to reduce pain and improve function.
My name is William Bartha and I am 51 years old. I was hurt in a construction accident. Mr. Bartha was feeling pain at each of these lower discs. Excruciating, absolutely excruciating.
One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life. It radiates down into my hips down into my feet. Before I was seeing Dr. Jackson, I lived in really bad pain every single day. I’m very blessed to have been put into his hands.
What I did for William Bartha is what I do for many of my patients, which is to try to decrease the inflammation at the disc and under the x-ray I can see where the needle goes. Uh, I inject dye to make sure that the medication will flow to the correct areas and one time confident that the needle is in the correct placement. I then inject steroid medication into the area and with the course of physical therapy and several injection procedures, I was able to decrease the inflammation in the discs and the nerves and really help improve his overall function right in here.
Through his injections. He unlocked it and allowed me to be able to sit up straight. It feels good to be able to go for a little walk for 15 or 20 minutes. It changed my whole life. Truly grateful beyond any words that I could ever convey to you.
