After having a knee replacement, I thought I would never feel mentally physically myself again. From January- June, I had a team of talented, caring individuals who got me to those goals. They make a treatment plan tailored to your recovery goals. I also want to thank Sha.....e she makes that first contact to get you into PT. and checks your insurance co-pay and benefits. I have had an all around excellent physical therapy experience with Stephanie and Nathan. They have assisted greatly with my recovery after a fall and I have steadily increased my strength and ability to ambulate. They have listened to and addressed all my issues and concerns along the way. Also, the facility is well kept and clean and everyone that works there is kind and pleasant. Dr Ramirez listen to all my concerns. He was very thorough in explaining my x-rays and showing me where I needed to have some work done. He uses various techniques to address issues that I was having and I actually walked out of the office feeling great for the first time in months. You have to do your part and he will do his part in giving you the proper exercises along with tools to get you better. I am truly blessed to have found him. Every therapist I've had was very knowledgeable and helpful with the exercises. The women at the desk greeted me and everyone else enthusiastically. You genuinely feel that the therapist has your best outcome in mind as they treat you. I've been very pleased. I was a patient at this same facility over five years ago for a different problem. The Orthopedic doctor was able to assist with my needs by sending me to their physical therapy department in Carrollwood. The therapists and chiropractor are extraordinary. I hobbled in with a cane and two months later I was walking fine. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. Each patient is given their own plan for success! I have traditional Medicare. I rested my bad(plantar fasciitis) foot by using crutches for too many weeks and lost my ability to walk. The FOI doctor prescribed physical therapy. The team at Florida Orhopaedic Institute physical therapy really helped me. They guided all my exercises with twice a week visits for a total of 8 weeks. Now I can use the foot for all normal activities and hopefully before long will be able to use it for the most strenuous activities. They handled all the billings through Medicare and my supplemental insurance. I couldn't ask for better results or nicer people to work with. I have been suffering with shoulder issues for 2 years, this is the second physical therapy office I have been to. The first was not with FOI. I left them after 3 weeks as I was frustrated that they did the exact same thing every time. On the other hand, I have been thrilled with my treatment by the physical therapists at FOI. Within 3 weeks I have gained back a significant amount of range of motion in my shoulder. They are pleasant to talk to and explain things when I ask questions.
