About Dr. Krueger
Dr. Michael Krueger is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, educated at the Medical College of Wisconsin and trained in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Kentucky. After completing his surgical internship and residency, he pursued a sports medicine fellowship at the Sports Orthopedics & Spine Foundation and has since practiced in Kentucky and Florida for more than 15 years.
Michael R. Krueger, MD is double board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Krueger treats a broad range of orthopedic conditions, with a special focus on sports-related injuries, fractures, and work-related musculoskeletal problems. As a former Division III All-American football player and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, he brings a unique understanding of athletic performance and injury recovery to his patients. His approach centers on listening carefully, tailoring treatment to each individual’s goals, and guiding patients safely back to the activities they enjoy.
Dr. Krueger’s professional work includes years of on-field and sideline coverage for youth, high school, collegiate, and minor league baseball athletes, as well as participation in community sports injury clinics. He has extended his orthopedic expertise internationally by joining surgical mission trips to Honduras, providing care to underserved patients.
Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Krueger enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hunting, fishing, weight training, and recreational sports. He is dedicated to his family and to his community, where he volunteers as an assistant football coach and supports local youth sports.
