About Christian Cruz

Christian earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. After graduation, he began his nursing career with Orlando Health, where he worked on a vascular surgery step-down unit and developed a strong foundation in caring for patients with complex surgical conditions. He went on to attend the University of South Florida, where he earned his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He now practices as a spine nurse practitioner, combining his background in surgical care with his passion for building meaningful relationships with patients.

Christian’s approach to patient care is centered on treating every patient as he would a member of his own family. He believes listening is one of the most important parts of providing quality care, and he takes the time to understand each patient’s symptoms, concerns, goals, and expectations. He believes in a thoughtful, individualized approach to spine care, beginning with conservative treatment whenever appropriate and exploring surgical options when they are necessary. His goal is to educate and guide patients throughout their treatment journey so they can make informed decisions and feel confident in their care.

Outside of the office, Christian enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of his free time. He is a big fan of movies, science fiction, and history, and has a particular appreciation for Star Trek. He also enjoys attending live sporting events and concerts whenever he has the opportunity, and he loves to travel, exploring new places and experiences along the way. He has a growing collection of coffee mugs that he enjoys adding to, and he is also a big fan of Buc-ee’s. Whether at a game, on a trip, enjoying a concert, watching a great movie, or spending time with family, Christian values experiences that allow him to step away from work and enjoy time with the people and interests that matter most to him.
