Dr. Beatty then pursued plastic surgery training at Duke University. Her hand and microsurgery training was undertaken in Louisville with the world-renowned Kutz and Kleinert Hand Surgery Fellowship.

Dr. Beatty has a special interest in the development and growth of the upper extremities and has published journal articles and textbook chapters on the origin of arm structures. Dr. Beatty has practiced medicine in Tampa for the past 23 years. She is board-certified by the America Board of Plastic Surgery and has received the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.

I flew to Ohio on April 24th and my friends picked me up. When we got back to my friends house, I went to do something and stepped over a Great Dane when I fell and broke my wrist in 3 places. Off to the emergency room we went where they had to pop my wrist back in place. When I travelled back home after another week, I made an appointment with Dr. Beatty and had a complex surgery. All I can say is Dr Beatty did a great job on my wrist so I would love to say thank you so much, you are a great surgeon!
