Luis Pulido, M.D., FAAOS

Dr. Luis Pulido is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery. He is an active fellow member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the Florida Orthopaedic Society.

Dr. Pulido completed orthopedic surgery residency followed by a fellowship in hip and knee adult reconstruction surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After completing his joint replacement fellowship, Dr. Pulido received the prestigious Hip Society’s Müller European fellowship award where he learned surgical techniques from Europe’s best surgeons.

Dr. Pulido is a caring physician with more than 15 years of experience. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. His areas of expertise include minimally invasive direct anterior hip replacement, knee replacement surgery, complex revision hip and knee surgery, management of infection and periprosthetic fractures. He joined Florida Orthopaedic Institute to continue delivering world class orthopedic care in Central and North Florida to patients suffering from hip and knee pain.
