About Dr. Yi

Dr. Hogan G. Yi is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with decades of experience in sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Yi completed his medical education at Washington University School of Medicine and pursued his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. To further specialize in sports medicine, he completed a fellowship at Tahoe Fracture and Orthopedic Medical Clinic in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Before joining All Florida Orthopaedic Associates | Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Yi served the St. Petersburg community through his own private practice, Hogan G. Yi, M.D., P.A., from 1993 to 2025. His dedication to patient care and surgical excellence earned him a trusted reputation among patients and colleagues alike.

Dr. Yi is an active member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His research contributions include a publication on Ewing’s Sarcoma in Orthopedic Review (Rotentgen Rounds), 1988.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Yi is an avid hockey fan and continues to play in an adult hockey league in the community.
