Florida Orthopaedic Institute is proud to congratulate Dr. Hassan R. Mir on being recognized by Becker’s Healthcare as one of the “10 Orthopedic Surgeons to Know.” This national recognition celebrates orthopedic surgeons whose clinical expertise, leadership, research, and commitment to advancing the specialty continue to shape the future of orthopedic care.  

Dr. Mir is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic trauma surgeon who serves as Director of Orthopaedic Trauma Research at Florida Orthopaedic Institute and is also a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of South Florida. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to improving outcomes for patients with complex fractures and traumatic injuries while advancing orthopedic education and research.  

In addition to providing exceptional patient care, Dr. Mir has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to numerous national orthopedic organizations, and played an active role in mentoring the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. His work reflects Florida Orthopaedic Institute’s commitment to delivering world-class orthopedic care through clinical excellence, innovation, research, and education.
