About Binny Gocool

Binny is a Florida native, born and raised in the Sunshine State. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Florida before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of South Florida. Passionate about orthopedics, she works alongside Dr. Heitner, caring for patients with upper extremity conditions involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.

Binny believes every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care. Her approach centers on treating the whole person rather than simply the injury, taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns, lifestyle, and individual goals. She strives to provide compassionate care and clear education so that patients feel informed and confident throughout their recovery. Understanding how an upper extremity injury can affect the activities people rely on every day, Binny works alongside each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan that helps them return to the activities and lifestyle that matter most to them.

Outside of work, Binny enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active. You can usually find her enjoying a sunset walk on the beach, playing pickleball or volleyball, or simply making memories with the people closest to her. She feels fortunate to call Florida home and enjoys embracing the active, healthy lifestyle the state has to offer.
