About Dr. D'Alonzo
Dr. D’Alonzo is board-eligible by the American osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and specializes in Adult Reconstruction. Dr. D’Alonzo was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he completed his undergraduate degree at Drexel University. He obtained his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. During residency, he served as Chief Resident and was named Resident of the Year by his faculty. Dr. D’Alonzo completed his fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
Dr. D’Alonzo cares for lower extremity conditions with a specific interest in hip and knee replacement. He specializes in both primary and complex revision surgeries, including infected and failed joint replacements.

Dr D'Alonzo is awesome. Very concerned for the wellbeing of his patients. Saw him for the first time in March and diagnosed with bilaterial osteoarthritis in both knees. Went over options and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Didn't feel rushed. Excellent bedside manner. Glad to be under his care for my condition

We met Dr D’Alonzo when my husband fell and was in bad shape. He took time to tell us what was going on, what we were going to be facing in over the next couple of months. He would be non weight bearing until further notice. We were also getting ready for our daughters wedding in 2 weeks from his fall. He and his team worked with us ( sometimes daily) to get him to a point he could make it to our daughter’s wedding and have “their dance” together. After intensive PT/OT he was able to stand for their dance!! Can’t recommend Dr. D and his team enough. They provide the compassion and care all providers should do. Thank you Dr D’Alonzo.

He was really thorough. He went over my MRI and X-Rays and explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. It's clear he knows what he's talking about. Dr. D'Alonzo asks all the pertinent questions, reviews your records and imaging studies with you. He is very personable and understanding. Dr. D'Alonzo did a total hip replacement on me on April 14th. Before surgery I was in relentless excruciating pain. After surgery I was free of that pain and have remained so. The incisional pain is a piece of cake. I am walking and doing my physical therapy. I am so fortunate to have gone to him and entrusted him with my care. I just can't thank Dr. D'Alonzo enough. Dr. D'Alonzo was very friendly and extremely thorough. He explained fully my hip problem and discussed the best way to treat it, encouraging me to exercise and continue taking care of myself. After an injection which was painless, he gave me exercises to do and recommended I participate in PT to help strengthen my hip. He was knowledgeable and cared that I received good care. My appt was absolutely great in every way. He is abvious a very caring and engaging Dr. Interested in each patient and takes plenty of time in understanding why your there and does the procedures needed to diagnose what is the problem and what treatment is needed. Dr. D’Alonzo put me immediately at ease. He talked through my symptoms with me and then explained everything involved with hip replacement surgery. Dr D'Alonzo listened intently as I shared the details of my knee problem, as well as other factors that complicate the condition. He asked questions about where and when I have the pain. He examined my knee motion and the problem with hyperextension. Dr D'Alonzo showed me the options for eliminating hyperextension along with the risks associated with each. He was also aware of complications that might arise from IBM. His explanations were very clear and he took extra time with me. I felt very comfortable during the visit. I met the Dr. D'ALONZO for the very first time yesterday. He was amazing very caring and understanding. He took his time to explain everything Thoroughly..He explains everything to where you understand. He takes time with each of his patients. No matter how long it takes To get his job done. Update: My Surgery was done on May 15th, And I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Even my recovery time has been amazing. Within two weeks I was bending at a hundred percent. My knee was really bad. So I'm very impressed With his work. Much gratitude to Dr. D'Alonzo and his staff For jumping in and getting the job done. I will forever be grateful.
