Wonderful. I took my 94 year old mother to Dr Mehrotra. She had been in constant pain and discomfort and had gone from 100% self sufficient to only able to walk from bed to chair. Dr Mehrotra ordered an xray which reflected arthritis and was hands on to immediately detect a painful knee bursitis. Fantastic. He was articulate, caring and expert. By nightfall her pain was significantly reduced via prescriptions and care. I left a message with Jessica that evening with a request and received an immediate call in the morning along with an email. Very kind, knowledgeable and efficient and she has continued to be responsive and diligent in finding the right home health situation for my mom’s insurance and needs for physical therapy. Bravo!!! Great doctor, great staff!
I recently had knee replacement surgery done by Dr. Mehrotra at Tampa General Hospital. At my first visit, he was attentive to my explanation of my problem. We decided to do a recheck in three months to see if my knee stability had worsened and of course it had. We opted for a total knee replacement after discussing the pros and cons of a partial vs. total replacement. The surgery itself went very well. I didn’t have nearly the pain I thought I would have. After the surgery, Dr. Mehrotra called my husband and talked with him at length. He answered all questions my husband has so that my husband felt comfortable with my care. I highly recommend that anyone considering knee surgery check out Dr. Mehrotra. He really cares about his patients and getting them back to their previous levels of activity. His administrative assistant, Jessica is an invaluable part of his team. It’s never fun to have surgery, but this team made it so much easier than I would have imagined. Y’all rock!!
I had my first appointment with Dr. Mehrotra this morning. I arrived early as usual and the front office people were helpful and courteous. Jessica took me in the room where I would meet the doctor. She was kind and courteous and answered all my questions. I then met the doctor. He took his time examining me and explained to me the results of the x-ray. We discussed a plan forward where I am comfortable. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Mehrotra to anyone.
Entire process from start to finish was a breeze. Loved Dr. Mehrotra and his assistant Jessica. They were both very skilled, worked well as a team and displayed a welcome personality making me very much at ease. I won’t hesitate to return when I need care in the future.
I was seen by Dr. Kapil Mehrotra for hip pain. Check-in was easy. After check-in, I was immediately sent to x-ray where I experienced no wait. Then, back to the office where Jessica immediately took me into a room and genuinely listened to my pain story. Immediately afterward, Dr. Mehrotra came in and attentively listened to my concerns. We looks at the x-rays together and he pointed to problem areas/areas of concern. He rotated my leg and had me walk to examine my gait. Then, he sat with me and provided me with a plan of action. He appeared to be very concerned and interested in my care. I felt like I was not being talked to, but rather an active participant in my recovery plan. I felt very comfortable asking questions (and I asked a lot) and he was patient and answered each one. Five stars for Dr. Mehrotra and his staff!
Dr. Mehrotra was polite and respect. He asked good questions, was able to identify the cause of my hip pain and recommended a course of treatment.
I went there for my first visit. He was awesome and answered all my question. He was very knowledgeable. Thank you. I will see him again if I need to. Great guy.
Dr. Mehrotra did a thorough examination of my knee and gave me a detailed explanation of my likely injury. Dr. Mehrotra was confident, understanding and patient. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family/friends. Thank you Dr. Mehrotra and staff!
