Our 24/7 online Portal lets you:

HOW DOES THE ATHENAHEALTH PORTAL BENEFIT YOU?

  • You can send a message to the medical team, request prescription refills, and check the status of your bill in a personalized patient portal 24/7.
  • Physicians and other medical personnel are now able to view your patient profile in one system.

HOW DOES ATHENAHEALTH IMPACT MY VISIT?

  • Patients will be considered a new patient on their initial visit once ATHENAHEALTH is launched. You will have to input your health information into the new system, even if you have entered the information in a previous visit.
  • You will receive a link via an e-mail or text message to access your portal upon registering for your initial appointment.
  • You may fill out your paperwork with the link sent from our patient check-in platform via e-mail 5 days prior to your appointment, or via text message 3 days prior to your appointment.
  • If unable to complete your paperwork prior to arrival, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment in order to complete the paperwork on one of our tablets in-office.

No Show/Cancelation Appointment Policy

– Effective June 1, 2024

Thank you for entrusting FOI with your care. When you schedule an appointment, diagnostic test, or procedure, we specifically designate the appropriate amount of time to provide you with the highest quality care. Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours before your appointment. Early notification allows our practice to better utilize appointments for other patients in need of prompt medical care. Additionally, if you need to cancel or reschedule your surgery, please contact our office as soon as possible and no later than 72 hours before your surgery.

Please see our no show/cancelation fees for the following service types:

  • Office/Therapy Appointments: $25
  • Diagnostics (includes MRI, CT, EMG, MRA): $100
  • In-office Procedures: $200
  • Surgery: $200

Fees are charged to the patient, not the insurance company, and are due at the time of the patient’s next office visit.  We understand there may be times when unforeseen emergencies occur, and you may not be able to keep your scheduled appointment. If you should experience extenuating circumstances, please contact our office as soon as possible.
