While in Mexico, I fell, and was advised I could not travel with the fractures without surgery. In Mexico, the multiple fractured femur was repaired, with instructions to follow up with an Orthopaedic in the US.  After weeks of searching, and many denials, Dr. Mir was the only Orthopeadist who would see me consent to correct the previous incorrect surgery that had been preformed. Dr. Mir’s expertise,  his excellent surgical skill, his caring and compassion has given me the ability to walk again. I am forever grateful to Dr. Mir for taking on my most difficult case, and giving me such great hope for my recovery. My deepest respect to Dr. Mir, his staff, and Tampa General Hospital.
