Florida Orthopaedic Institute Continues Expansion With Addition of New Doctors

The growing Florida-based orthopedic practice announces new Interventional Spine Pain Management Physician and two new Sports Medicine Surgeons.

Tampa, Fl. – February 17, 2022 – Florida Orthopaedic Institute (FOI) announces the recent addition of Dr. Stephanie J. Epting, Dr. Charles C. Nofsinger and Dr. Trey Remaley to its practice as it continues to grow across Florida.

Dr. Epting received her fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Pain Management. “We are proud to have Stephanie Epting, DO join our Interventional Pain division,” says Dr. Roy Sanders, president, chief medical officer and founding member of Florida Orthopaedic Institute. “Dr. Epting was trained under the experts in Interventional Spine and Pain Management at Northeastern Rehabilitation Associates in Pennsylvania and went on to do additional fellowship training at Advanced Pain Management, Inc. in Florida.”

Dr. Epting takes a special interest in helping her patients restore their function by working through barriers allowing them to meet their goals through pain management.

“We are pleased to also welcome Charles Nofsinger, MD and Trey Remaley, DO,” Dr. Sanders said. “Dr. Nofsinger and Dr. Remaley are Sports Medicine fellowship trained surgeons that are highly involved at the University of South Florida. Both of these doctors have been involved in the training of some of our residents and fellows and we are glad to bring them on board.”

Dr. Nofsinger treats a variety of conditions in the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle ranging from sports injuries to traumatic injuries and arthritis.

Dr. Remaley specializes in all things related to sports medicine, seeing patients for complex and joint replacement issues for hips, knees, and shoulders.

Dr. Epting is seeing patients at the Citrus Park and South Tampa locations.

Dr. Nofsinger and Dr. Remaley are seeing patients at the North Tampa location.
